Wright, Ewen
Ewen Wright graduated from Hampshire College in 2008. From 2008-2010 he worked as a licensed teacher and at the Media Arts Collaborative Charter School in his hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Over the course of his two years as an instructor he taught Film History, Film/Video Production, and Screenwriting. He was also the Media Department Chair and the Media Equipment Coordinator. Work from Ewen’s independent production company, Cool Cat Productions, has garnered awards and nominations at a number of film festivals throughout the country, and in 2009 he was the recipient of a New Visions New Mexico Contract award from the State of New Mexico Film Office for his short, "Validation." In early 2011 he and his wife moved to the Bay Area, and shortly thereafter he joined The Bay Area Video Coalition as The Factory Program Assistant, where he helps to run the advanced film-making program for youth.
