Johnson, Daniel

Daniel is an Adobe Certified Instructor in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash. He is a digital illustrator with traditional training and creates artwork for a Sonoma county design firm, as well as freelance clients. Using Photoshop as his primary creative tool, he has won the NAPP's Guru award in Illustration and has been featured in Layers magazine. In addition to courses at BAVC, he teaches at Santa Rosa Junior College, Adobe training centers, and does onsite consulting. Currently, he heads the Digital Matte team at the Pixel Corps in San Francisco creating digital matte paintings and hopes to get into feature film work. When not painting, designing, animating, or teaching, he enjoys exploring Mayan ruins in Mesoamerica and has written a book about his travels.
